C-I TRAINING™ TEACHER COURSE & CERTIFICATION: LEVEL 1 Taught by Donna Krasnow, MS. Dates: 1) Monday, December 8 - Saturday, December 13, 2008 - Toronto 2) Monday, July 20 - Saturday, July 25, 2009 - Toronto 3) Tuesday, August 4 - Thursday, August 20, 2009 – Vancouver New! 4) Monday, August 23 - Saturday, August 28, 2010 - Toronto This six-day intensive course is designed for dance teachers. Participants will learn: (1) the purpose and correct execution of each exercise in the beginning and intermediate level work, (2) the latest developments and new material in C-I Training™, and (3) the progression for teaching the material over time. Practice teaching opportunities will be provided. Teachers wishing to take the qualifying practical exam at the end of the course will receive C-I Training™ Level 1 Certification. Secondary School Dance Teachers welcome! Practical applications of C-I Training™ for the Ontario curriculum, grades 9-12, will be provided. Times: 9 am - 4 pm each day (45-minute lunch). Participants will learn: (1) the purpose and correct execution of each exercise in advanced level work, (2) the latest developments and new material in advanced C-I Training™, (3) the progression for teaching the material over time, and (4) additional information about alignment and injury prevention work for dancers. Practice teaching opportunities will be provided. Teachers wishing to take the qualifying practical exam at the end of the course will receive C-I Training™ Level 2 Certification.
